Worst boot sale ever in terms of sales. came back with exactly what I left the house with, apart from one
acoustic guitar (50) and two plaster cast molds of revolutionaries, both damaged but repairable, and I should have repaired them I guess but they went for 20. Unsigned but quite nice (if you like that sort of thing). and it wasn't until 1pm that someone enquired the price. Started at 30. But hifi ... nothing sold.
I got the impression that if I'd sold everything for free I'd still have come back with some stuff.
Good to get the house cleared out somewhat though. It's all now in the barn and I'll just stuck more stuff in there and do a 'barn sale' as well as individual sales but at reasonable prices, ie what it was trying for on the boot sale. There was a remarkable lack of interest. I'd give a price, maybe 2 an hour, and it would be, ok then, and then they'd walk off. Got some compliments and comments, but .... wrong place, wrong time. (back to school, civil war menace, ww3 menace (everyone I speak to thinks Putin does want to take Paris, or at least Berlin)
